**Hey it's Char. This week's title is by Chaos Chaos (Do You Feel It? is the title of the song and a lyric in it), and it's used in Rick and Morty. Probably listen to it, it's great. Love.**
Day 97 (Monday, December 5th)
We went to a Starbucks again first
thing so Karol could put the finishing touches on the latest blog
post. After this we ran to a Michaels' so I could get some christmas
stuff and then we hit the road for Henry's. We made one stop at a
Pilot to get gas, pee, and eat some peanut butter and jelly
sandwiches and then continued on our way. It was around 4:30 I
think, when we arrived and it was really nice to see Henry. We
brought a few things in but then chatted with he and his mom for most
of the night, at some point having some yummy corned beef and veggies
for dinner. It's rare that I feel so welcome and at home somewhere
so quickly, and after our realization about WWOOF and then the
slightly unrestful week of camping, I felt relieved to be there.

We're here : ) |
Day 98 (Tuesday, December 6th)
Now that we had shelter, I welcomed the
rainy day we were bombarded with. It was to me, the perfect first
day to have at Henry's. I made some eggs for everyone and we just
hung out most of the day while I worked on a christmas present. We
ran out to the corner store for some Mike's Hard Lemonades (they have
a lot of flavors there, including a Deadpool one which is pretty
awesome) and then introduced Henry to Rick and Morty which he loved,
and we're so glad he did. As I'm writing this, we already went
through Season 1 and started Season 2 (yeah, in like two days what
about it). His mom made us delicious grilled cheese sandwiches and
fries for dinner and after Rick and Morty we watched Rise of the
Planet of the Apes before going to bed.

Day 99 (Wednesday, December 7th)
We had a nice relaxing morning and
Henry's mom made pancakes for breakfast. I started my next Christmas
present and Karol played some Minecraft (oh I also talked to my
seeeester on the phone and it was fantastic to hear her voice <3<3<3)
until we went with Henry to Lynchburg so he could get a hard drive
from Walmart and also so Karol could get some epoxy. For dinner we
went to a Chinese restaurant Henry loves, Andy Chang's and had some
delicious food. Henry had tea roasted duck, Karol had mushroom
chicken, and I had some spicy deep fried tofu. Holy shit, it was all
really good, and we even had an awesome waiter which made the whole
experience even better. After some bathroom pictures, we left and
went back home to binge watch some more Rick and Morty and we ended
up staying awake until 2 am talking after we turned off R & M. I
hadn't stayed up that late in ages, and it was a fucking great time.
Life is good.

Day 100 (Thursday, December 8th)
DAY 100! Pretty exciting, Karol and
Henry went out to get some whiskey for celebrating and also run a few
other errands. Henry showed us how to use the log splitter which is
the coolest thing. We made some progress splitting and stacking the
pretty big pile of wood they have. We started on the whiskey and
then it was an amazingly fun, drunken evening. We had deer
tenderloin with veggies for dinner (super fucking good) and continued
pouring shots of Maker's Mark between drinking Mike's and also some
Seagram's fruity shit that I picked out that ended up being only 3
something percent alcohol so that was a fail, but I guess they taste
alright. Karol may or may not have mixed substances and didn't feel
too well, but it was adorable and Henry whipped up a few things for
him to drink to settle his stomach and it eventually helped and yay
(yeah I was preparing to basically just have to go to bed as I have
had to do before when I've had too much but instead I felt better
pretty quickly and stayed up for another few hours! Wubbalubbadubdub!
Thanks again, Doctor Henry! =k), we stayed up even later than the
night before and I feel like a fun person again.

Day 101 (Friday, December 9th)
I don't know if we were hungover
exactly, but we sure as shit didn't feel like doing anything. We did
manage to put up our wet tent so it could dry finally. But yeah that
was basically it, the guys played some video games while I typed some
of this and listened to music. Should be working on christmas
presents but I need a break. Might watch a movie. Not sure yet.
Yeah so hey guys right now I'm writing in real time, so cool right?
Mmmkay bye.
So I ended up watching Monster with
Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci - it was really good but a rough
one. Karol and I then made spaghetti for dinner with the sauce we
made in Maine and some ground turkey. Henry's mom really enjoyed it
(I think Henry did too, but she said at least 10 times how yummy it
was) and we were really glad to have shared that with them. Then we
binge watched the rest of Rick and Morty yesssssssssssssssssss.

Day 102 (Saturday, December 10th)
We did nothing again today and it was
glorious. I did make breakfast for Karol and Henry before I watched
Bad Moms while they played more video games. Bad Moms was okay, but
holy shit it did have one of the funniest lines I've ever heard, so
it was worth it to watch just for that. Henry just brought us some
bangin' reubens for dinner from a gas station. I just stuffed it in
my face. Now I'm deciding what to do with my life. Will probably
watch a movie to escape from my feelings of being pre-emptively sad
about leaving. Yay.
While I was deciding what to do with my
life Henry suggested I play some music so I ended up playing DJ again
which makes me the happiest ever and I think everyone for the most
part enjoyed it, including his mom. I played solitaire while we were
listening to music and eventually we watched Cabin in the Woods.
***NOTE: Honestly, I feel like I've
given a very bland, generic account of our time here - but in reality
I've had some of the best times of my life with Henry and his mom,
and it's all personal and I just don't know if I feel like baring my
soul as much as would be necessary to describe how wonderful it has
been. Just you know, all the feels, and it's amazing.
